Yes! It’s almost time for the newest installment of the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Are you ready? I am practically giddy with my excitement. I’ve been having so much fun making different slime recipes with my girls, of course, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make another one! Keep reading to find out how to make your own Star Wars slime inspired by The Last Jedi!
Star Wars Slime Inspired by The Last Jedi
Use the force, you will, to create an out-of-this-galaxy spin on my tried and true “recipe” for fun! I always thought making slime with my kids would be taxing and messy, but it’s actually quite fun! I promise you that once you start making it, it will be hard to stop! Here’s what you need to make this Star Wars slime:
Ingredients
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/2 tsp of Borax
- 1/2 cup room temperature water
- 1 5-6oz bottle glue (clear or white, your choice)
- Red or Blue Glitter (optional)
- Star Wars Confetti
Directions
- Mix 1 cup hot water with 1/2 tsp of Borax in a bowl or measuring cup. Stir well until dissolved. Let this mixture come to room temperature.
- Empty glue into a separate bowl. Mix in 1/2 cup of plain water. I recommend a whisk for mixing. This is also where you add in glitter and/or confetti if you choose.
- Stir the Borax/water mixture into the bowl of glue/water. As you see the slime beginning to form, begin kneading and squishing the two mixtures together. If your slime is not setting up correctly, allow it to sit for 30 seconds to 1 minute before kneading and squishing again.
Enjoy playing with your slime or consider packaging it up in small containers to use as party favors or prizes!
