5 Reasons to Stay at Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort

Santa Claus, Indiana is a small town. It’s very clean and friendly, but there aren’t a plethora of accommodations to choose from. Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort hosted us during our stay, but even if they hadn’t, I wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else. The convenience of being right next to Holiday World and using Lake Rudolph’s free shuttle really made our weekend enjoyable.Plan you visit to Holiday World with 5 reasons to stay at Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort. There are plenty of amenities that make this location the best. If you're heading to Holiday World, this is where you'll want to stay.

Holiday Cottages

We stayed in one of their Holiday Cottages, and I was pleasantly surprised at how generous they are in size and comfort. I’m not much for camping (not for long anyway), so this was a great compromise for me. We enjoyed the screened in porch, which made me feel like I was in nature without actually being out in it, and the outdoor grill for dinner one evening. Biggest bonuses? AC/Heat that functioned very well, WiFi/Cable, and a full bathroom.

Other Cabin Options

I was given a full tour of the campground that included a view of Rudolph’s Christmas Cabins, Family Cabins, and the Legendary Cabins. All of the other cabins sleep 6-8 people, but only have one bedroom. There are loft spaces that have several mattresses (queen and twin sizes) in the cabins, but we appreciated the privacy of having two bedrooms. The Legendary Cabins back up to Holiday World’s The Legend roller-coaster and ZOOMbabwe water slide. That could be awesome or potentially annoying for your family.Reasons to Stay at Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort

RV Sites

On my tour, I found out that guests can rent RVs directly from Lake Rudolph. If bringing your own RV, they have 20, 30, and 50 amp hookups as well as gravel and concrete pads to park on. I saw several families camping out in tents across the property, and I was really impressed with their commitment to camping!Reasons to Stay at Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort
