Disneyland is full of great photo opportunities. Whether you’re taking photos yourself or having a PhotoPassphotographer capture your memories, there are many places to choose from as a backdrop to your magical day. Bookmark this page because I’ve got your all-inclusive list of the most popular Instagram spots in Disneyland!
Disneyland Instagram Walls
What exactly are “Instagram Walls?” A few years ago, social media became a buzz with finding unique spots to take photos in theme parks beyond the standard fare. Everyone takes photos in front of Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom or the Tree of Life in the Animal Kingdom, but what about those off-the-beaten-path locations?
Thus, “Instagram Walls” were born. Disney World Instagram walls are a bit more abundant than in Disneyland, but there are still plenty of Instagrammable walls to choose from!
Instagram Spots in Disneyland Park
Beyond the castle, Disneyland Park has many photo locations to choose from. As the park constantly evolves, I’ll endeavor to update this list as walls change.
Celebrate Wall in Toon Town
First up is the “Celebrate Wall” in ToonTown. I chose this wall to be first on my list because it’s so happy and vibrant. I also think ToonTown doesn’t get enough credit for being loads of fun!
Small World Wall
There are two walls near the “it’s a small world” ride. The most Instagrammed spot is to the left before you get to the ride. The wall is blue and white, you can’t miss it!
Secondly, the other wall is across the walkway and has a crisscross pattern of vines on it.
Frontierland Wall
You can find this fantastic spot on the walkway heading toward Galaxy’s Edge in Frontierland. I love this spot because the lighting is always great, thanks to the overhanging ledges! This wall is also known as the “Big Thunder Mountain Wall.”
Star Wars Wall
Called the “Star Wall,” “Star Wars Wall,” or the “May the Force Be with You” wall, this one is in Tomorrowland. Look for it on the outside of Launch Bay.
Mint Julep Wall
The Mint Julep Wall is easily found in New Orleans Square to the right of the window, where you can purchase mint juleps and beignets! Yum!

Instagram Spots in Disney California Adventure
Now, hop over to the other park in Anaheim, Disney California Adventure. This park used to have many more walls, but construction changes and meet and greet locations (RIP #BuzzlightyearWall #BlueWallPics) have replaced some of the most popular ones.
Coco Wing Wall
Coco is one of those tear-jerker Pixar movies that will always stay with you. The beauty captured in this wall makes it a perfect photo spot in California Adventure. Find it over by the Paradise Gardens Park area.

Pixar Pier Wall
Like the sign on the bridge, the Pixar Pier wall is a popular photo location. You can find it between Pixar Pier and Paradise Gardens Park.
Poultry Palace Wall
This one is not as popular on Instagram as others, but it’s still a great spot! It’s located on Pixar Pier right across from Toy Story Midway Mania.
Pixar Pier Poster Walls
Three posters depicting various Pixar characters line the boardwalk just after you pass Lamplight Lounge. Not only are these a good place for photos, but you can also get a great view of the Incredicoaster launch!

Monster’s, Inc. Wall
It’s a wall! It’s a door! It’s both! Located in Hollywood Land, this “wall” is Boo’s door from the movie Monster’s, Inc. Snap your photo before you hop on the ride!
BONUS Walls
Finally, I’ve got a couple of “bonus” walls for you. I liked these photo spots, but they aren’t necessarily popular on Instagram. That may change (or not), but regardless, they’re unique photo opportunities!
Inside Out Wall
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind opened in the summer of 2019, and the ride brought fantastic photo opportunities. While under construction, there was a wall containing all of the characters from the movie. They’ve now been replaced with statues, but the Instagrammable vibe is the same.
Luxo Ball Wall
Lastly, it’s a little off the beaten path, so who knows if it will ever become famous on Instagram?
However, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to snap a photo of the Luxo Ball Wall inside the Lamplight Lounge. If you’re not going to dine in the restaurant, you may not see it, but don’t pass it by if you’re inside!
